At Murray River Mulch, we’ve always believed that

buying mulch should be simple.

When we launched our new website, one of our biggest goals was to make ordering premium mulch online as easy as ordering a pizza. We introduced upfront pricing, online ordering, delivery zones and a simple checkout process because we wanted to remove the hassle from buying landscaping supplies.

But after speaking with many of you over the past few weeks, we realised there was still one thing that could be improved.

Your Feedback Matters

One thing we love about being a family-owned local business is that we actually get to talk to our customers.

Since launching our website, a number of customers mentioned that while they appreciated how transparent our pricing was, it was sometimes confusing trying to work out the delivery cost before checking out.

Some people would calculate the product price, then try to remember which delivery zone they were in, add the delivery fee themselves and estimate the final cost. Others said the delivery fee appearing during checkout caught them by surprise.

That’s the last experience we want anyone to have.

We’ve completely restructured our pricing to include delivery costs directly into our product prices for all deliveries within 60km of our yard in Oldbury (Zones 1-3).

That means:

• No separate delivery fee during checkout (within Zones 1-3).

• No surprises when you’re ready to pay.

• No trying to calculate your total before ordering.

If your delivery falls outside our 60km local delivery area, a small flat delivery fee will still apply to help cover the additional travel. We’ll let you know your delivery zone during checkout, so it’s always clear before you complete your order.

Order:

• 10 cubic metres or more and you’ll automatically receive a discounted price per cubic metre.
